Why the name change?
Initially S6Connect.Hosting, we took over responsibility for services previously provided by JigsawHosting, Hosting4u, Christian Internet Solutions and Mail4u. These services were all migrated to our platform to ensure continuity of service, alongside our direct hosting clients.
In late 2020 we took over services from Stockport-based Harvest Consulting, migrating their Clients to our platform, and have since taken over clients from a handful of other small providers who were changing focus. We also began sharing our platform with a handful of trusted partners who wanted to offer the same quality hosting we were known for, with the assurance of our hands-on support where needed but without necessarily promoting a third-party.
Most CloudHost.One sites and clients are still managed by us directly, but some are supported by our trusted Associates and Partners. We've taken that a step further in some cases with managedSupport.Online – white-label support for when our associates or even some of our Clients need us to intervene and help their end users, appearing to be part of their team.

Security as Standard
Hands up if you like hidden-extras… yup, thought so. Sometimes they have a place – we wouldn't want to be charging you for things you don't need – but we're also not going to be charging for the basic things that we believe should be standard.
That means no additional charge for SSL certificates (the bit that gives you the green padlock), DNSSEC protection or basic backups. We'll help you setup SPF and DKIM records to ensure email deliverability, and can provide enhanced spam protection on your website without you needing to make site visitors jump through hoops with additional questions or random images.
